Poem: I Saw A Still Life, My Journey Till Date..

I saw a still life
Just a little while ago,
Into the jostling world I came crying,
I seem to miss a still life,
When I was inside the womb it was peaceful and quiet
I saw a still life,
Passing by, away from me.

Of events from child hood into a teen,
And then when I became sixteen,
Hopes and dreams kept streaming by,
Wishing to move fast and teeming high,
On the age I was unsure,
Oh Life!! it had brand new goals and dreams,

A life that had,
Vision of future and present it seems,
Life flew by, like a jet of stream.
With step by step into the hill abode,
Creating a castle of glass and snow,
The sparkling mansion of what I hold.

Some thorns, some blood, some hurt, Some hidden some shown,
I climbed the hill, a mountain or a  summit unknown.
I clinched to life with all my might,
Lost sometimes many and sometime a few,
Dreams some real some distant some hazy and forgotten,
I wished for time to stop and hold,
But it went as fast as a blink,
Time soar alot and a little.

I slipped, I stood, I stumbled in the middle,
Into the far future I one had seen,
Missing few pieces still in picture of my puzzle,
I tried to hold on with might as time flee,

Then one day the world stood still,
I saw a world, A still life in a painting,
Everything stopped, I wished once upon,
Too late to see how time flee without a shuddering,
All confined within the fear of a ghost or a ghoul.

No one safe, and no one could utter,
I saw a still life, in 2020
Where people seemed afraid of viral calamity
I pray for everyone else's safety.

A world that seems to have lost its humanity,
I saw a world in cages, but I saw a reality,

Amidts the stillness, amidst the silence,
Only a hope could light abyss full of darkness,
Faith a vessel and a messanger of brightness,
In isolation, secluded and in unknow harshness,
Doctors, angels and soldiers of kindness.
I saw sanity, love compassion and safety,
Some confined but still not bind,
Just to help, they risk and some went,
I stood still just like many have done before me,

It too looks like a still life painting,
Instilled with colors of compass and are like blessing amidts crisis,

I saw a still life
I did see it it seems.
My Journey till date....
